About Marmara University:

The university was actually established in 1982, but its roots go back to 1883. It is one of the most famous and largest Turkish public universities located in the Asian part of Istanbul in Turkey. Marmara University is accredited by the Turkish Ministry of Higher Education and the YÖS test is required for admission to the university.

Marmara University is the second largest university in Turkey, with about 60,000 students, and about 2,839 employees work at the university. Marmara University includes 13 faculties and 9 vocational institutes. And 31 research centers. The university also includes 11 post-baccalaureate higher education institutes, offering a total of 136 bachelor’s degree programs, at least 45 specializations for the master’s level, and 14 specializations for the doctoral level.

Marmara University is unique in that it is the only Turkish university that offers bachelor’s and post-bachelor’s study  programs in four languages: Turkish, French, English, and German.

Costs of studying at Marmara University:

Tuition costs for bachelor’s majors range between 3,000 and 7,000 Turkish liras, with the exception of medical majors.

While the costs of medical specialties range between 30 and 35 thousand Turkish liras.

Graduate studies fees range between 4,500 and 30,000 Turkish liras.

There are two dates for registration at Marmara University, which are in the form of two competitions:

The first comparison takes place in the third month (March).

The second comparison takes place in the eighth month (August).
