Sakarya University aims to equip individuals with all the necessary tools required for contemporary civilization. It was founded in 1970 and later transformed into the Sakarya University of Engineering and Architecture in 1971. Between 1982 and 1992, it operated as a faculty under Istanbul Technical University.

Sakarya University was officially established under Law No. 3837 on July 3, 1992.

The university quickly completed its academic and technological infrastructure and became one of the leading institutions among those established after the 1990s. It is the first and only public university to receive the ISO-2002 quality certificate and the "EFQM Excellence Model Quality Certificate" for its administrative units. It is distinguished by its education, social services, internet infrastructure, and information technology sector, serving as an exemplary model for many other universities.

Admission Requirements for Sakarya University
