The QS World University Rankings are widely recognized as one of the most influential global rankings of universities. They evaluate institutions based on various criteria, including academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty, student ratio, citations per faculty, and international faculty and student ratios. Turkish universities have been making significant strides in these rankings over recent years, reflecting the country's growing emphasis on higher education and research.

In order to select the best university in the world, QS relies on the opinions of more than 240,000 experts, academic staff and faculty members, and examines and analyzes 1,705 million academic papers from 1,500 educational institutions in 104 countries.
