The Preparatory Year:
The student is required to study (Turkish language + YÖS) or (Turkish language + SAT) in order to enter public universities.
Before we dive deeper into the details of the preparatory year, let us briefly explain the difference between admission to private and public universities.
Admission to Public Universities:
A student wishing to enroll in Turkish public universities must pass the YÖS or SAT entrance exam. While some universities allow students to secure a place without taking the entrance exam, the chances are higher for those who pass the entrance exam.
Admission to Private Universities:
Private universities do not require students to pass an entrance exam. You can apply to Turkish private universities simply with your high school diploma. However, some universities may require a minimum grade of 75% in the high school diploma for medical programs.
For registration in either public or private universities, please contact us.
