Ankara University - Ankara Üniversitesi:

The university was founded by Ataturk, the founder of the modern Turkish state, and the university is the first higher education institution established in the Turkish Republic. Ankara University is a large state university with about 15 faculties, about 40 professional specializations, 115 undergraduate programs, 110 graduate programs, and a total of 265 study programs, in addition to 41 centers.

Hacettepe University:

It was initially established as part of Ankara University in 1954. The foundation stone of the university was laid with the opening of the Institute of Child Health and the University Hospital in 1957, which began its activities and training in 1958. This university expanded and many faculties were opened in it. Its establishment was officially announced on July 8, 1967. It is one of the most important government universities in Ankara.

Gazi University - Gazi Üniversitesi:

It is a state university located in the capital Ankara, founded by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in 1926 as Gazi Teacher Training Institute. In 1982, it was reorganized by merging with Bolu Academy of Engineering and Architecture, Ankara Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences, Ankara Technical Vocational College, Ankara Technical Vocational College (for girls), and Ankara State Academy of Engineering and Architecture, to become a large metropolitan university.

Ankara Yildirim Beyazıt University - Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University :

Ankara Yildirim Beyazıt University was established by Law No. 27648 issued by the Turkish Parliament in 2010. The main objective of establishing the university is to create a parallel program for contemporary issues and develop the “open” thought and move away from the closed thought confined within specific geographical borders.

It is one of the best Turkish government universities that teaches a large part of its specializations in English.
